yesterday was a great day!!! i got so much stuff that i became a happy homosapien=)
we met up at 10 to go eat mac, then headed for town. hmmm although it was already afternoon, it just felt like morning to me at orchard. anyways then we decided to go to cineleisure first... it was rather quiet if not for those huge screens blasting all the music and everything... and most of the shops were not open yet=/ so we decided to visit some anime exhibition at lvl 9 since the staff were distributing coupons to collect freebies at their booth. being
it was super cool upstairs. there were rows and rows of their lan computers in the centre. i think have to pay to use anyway so nvr mind. then we just circled the entire area, and set down to watch a little animated film produced by the local students in uni or those from overseas. some were very interesting, some were too abstract that can get people bored in 1 min(the poor snail), and one totally freaked me out and it didnt help that they used the organ to play the music and mind you its not those very enchanting tunes they played. its those kind of pieces whereby you clash the notes to create a mishmash of sounds that i got so seriously freaked out until i almost wanted to vomit. brrrrr. anyway halfway through some male staff came onto the stage where the screening was situated and posed a simple Q&A session. super spastic. cause it was still considered quite early to be here and in the end, there were only 3 people sitting down to watch the animation. mainly me, kevin, and a man who had been sitting there since the screening started. LOL. so poor thing.
so we answered one of the qns the guy asked and they gave us a present!!!! GUESS WHAT IS IT!!!!!
OMFG THEY GAVE THE ANIME WITCH HUNTER ROBIN WHICH WAS WORTH $30 AS A FREAKING REWARD?!?!?!?!!?!
it was damn cool la... haha... and i was so shocked when they handed it to me. later they asked another qn, and being the only one who hasnt answered, the man got the prize la obviously lol. his is not bad too, a free one year subscription to rogue magazine. think its some japanese mag or gaming one. i dont really have much impression of the name.
well then we stayed on to watch a little more short films, then we decided to go as more and more people came up. went to get our goodie bags. omfg, three magazines in one goodie bag. her world, first, and bella. never expected it. although its all very nice to have goodie bags... er... but we ended up having to carry like 3-4 kg worth of paper throughout the streets of orchard and kns, the shopping hasnt started and my load is so heavy. lucky for me, a boyfriend in a stereotypical way doubles up as a porter for the dear queen that he never voted for that he loves and he was so kind to carry everything. XD
later went to taka... nth much, most of the stuff were too ex and i didnt find anything i wanted anyway. the sales at mango was crazy. absolutely crazy. the entire place was swamped with women jostling and grabbing for every single available clothes. i can imagine how uncomfortable and hot it would be in there. they even had to hire security guards to stand at the entrance to check on the customers going in and out. mad. obviously, we didnt go in-.- oh we made a trip to kino to search out newtype. NO JUNE ISSUE. WL. how can a shop just import the may and july issue but NO JUNE ISSUE? worse was that they featured the story art for fate/stay night which i wanted to get so much=( now no more. then i just bought the july issue. it wasnt that bad, they gave a mini clamp illustration booklet which was stunning and had a few pages covering the tracing of the story for fate/stay night. so it turned out to be not bad after all=) and the cover for july is beautiful. good mah. july is my b'dae moth lolXD
went to wisma. bought a top. and he bought something for me!! so sweet of him=) its really beautiful and i love it loads=) later walked up and down the whole shopping centre. nth much to see so we went to tangs. er... seriously nth to see. so we went to far east... urgh so many smokers. then we rested at gelare cause both our legs were aching badly. and we ate gelare waffle!!!! so ex, but the waffle was so crispy, so NICE!!!! mmmmmm and with maple syrup and ice cream to boot=D finished off the entire lvl 1 in barely 10 mins. lol. boring. then headed upstairs to visit the anime store... but nth new=(
was about to leave far east when i decided to just have a look into a store just outside. ended up buying a skirt lolXD two skirts in one day seems a little too much but i just bought it anyway. ended up with burger king for dinner cause legs were too tired. lol. times have changed so much. now even guys bitch about girls trying to get them and act like they were really "in"...zzz.
initially wanted to go back to cine to get a bag i saw earlier on and maybe visit the exhibition again. but it was pretty late and we are on the wrong end of orchard. hell for the legs. so just tossed the idea away and went home. tired but happy=)
today was start of school. new timetable rocks. new lessons dont. econs was such a bore that i slept all the way through even in tutorial. so much for picking on me during lecture. LOL. o well. quantum physics was interesting because mr oh did some little background introduction that was fascinating. ah haha then when he started the stuff i went back to sleep. so much for a first day. had lunch together in jp and we bought the first part of witch hunter robin!!! cause the prize was actually part two.
tmr going to chiong full house hahahahahahha. im a tv freak lately. okie going to watch witch hunter robin now
