Realization dawned on Shujun one fine day, no actually yesterday, that she has not been updating for like god knows when...

2 months only lah. Mayi so kan cheong.

But no, WAIT. She has decided to be so immensely gracious to bestow a post on this humble and semi - ditched blog, and seriously, she has no single idea what to write about. And I'm very very very serious that she has not a single idea to start with.

Ok enough with crap and 3rd party talk, it's confusing me.

Uhhh... just a small update for what I'm about to do during this long sem break.

Next sem, I shall refuse to take any more CCAs and be a 100% hermit. It kinda sucks when I want to do my stuff but am not free. + boyfriend time + family time, it's hard to get a full day for myself seriously. But oh well, we shall see how things progress when next sem arrives... but so far, I'm having no regrets taking these stuff up =) When I look back, they will be part of my memories of my days after I grad. So... yeah.

Somehow or rather, it gets a little odd becoming a senior and welcoming freshies. Like how Bell replicas start coming in (Jia Yi), and many juniors flooding the forums, so on so forth. And camp is only around 1 more week away before we start a new phrase of interaction with others.

Anyway, speaking of float, bloody OSHE finally gave us the forum after Kun hounded them with emails hundreds of times(actually I'm only imagining it, he only sent around 3 I guess). Like, IT'S ABOUT TIME OK. So yesterday we FINALLY made the metal frame for the body, and I'm seriously overjoyed!!!! =D Nothing sucks more than having no proper area allocated to build float. I must thank Mayi for taking the time off to help build the frame, cut the L-bars, screw on the nuts and bolts else he will have my head and boycott float, Kun, Ben and Pauline for staying up late, Jia Yi for helping earlier on (although I didn't meet her actually), because

WE FINALLY MADE THE *insert multiple toots here* BODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok thank yous aside, progress has been relatively slow because of the OSHE clearance needed, and camp coming up which doesn't allow us to do float at all. So now all because of this we the 3 muskeeters of float have to chiong for this and next week to build as many structures as we can so that we can occupy the freshies to mass- marche them. Yes, this is a 3-in-1 scheme to trick as many freshies as we can into becoming mass-marche drones who work at my command!!! =D

Actually, I duno wad 3 in 1 thingy is there to post about, but I'm just putting it there for show, so there.

Ok more random stuff:
Apparently us SoC has stunned quit a few people when we cordoned off a huge chunk of Central Forum for our float building purposes. For example, Law Camp, Arts Camp. But they were very nice people, and had the courtesy to ask permission to borrow our area for the period of time they were there to hold their activities, and we nicely let them.

BUT. But. BUTTTTTTTTTT. When we were happily walking off from COM1 on the way to Engine to have our lunch, we passed by our float building area, and what did we see?

- all our float stuff moved to a side
- the bench was cleared, and on it lay a stereo set

and most interestingly...

we saw an entire group of people sitting down at the steps with a guy giving them instructions on goodness-knows-what.

Now, how WOW a factor was that.

Firstly, you don't ask for MINE or KUN'S or PAULINE'S permission to use the area.

Secondly, we displayed a huge-ass banner right in front of the area for you to see, but you didn't see.

Thirdly, we cordoned off that area and you just merrily stepped in like no one's business. Eh sir, there's a reason why it is called cordoned OFF. Meaning OFF LIMITS.

On a normal basis, Shujun will stare at them (yes, every single one of them) for not asking permission AND TOUCHING HER FLOAT STUFF. SPOIL LIAO HOW YOU COMPENSATE YOU TELL ME?!?!

But this occasion was more special than the rest, because Shujun has some PARTICULARLY bad encounters with working with shitty people like Dee and Mee in the Management Committee where she works in. More interestingly, Dee and Mee who love to shoot off their mouths and give me trouble are of the same skin colour. Now why do I generalize this way? You see, although it has been said often in legends that they are reknowned retards, but we must have something more obvious besides having 2 ears and a mouth, and it really, coincidentally, accidentally, mysteriously, just happens that they have the same skin colour. Nothing else, REALLY. Like, OmgImReallySeriousLikeReally.

So bad experience with some = bad impression as a whole. And that's how I work. So in this very special occasion, it was the accumulated bad impression + no permission that I didn't like them. It was bad enough they didn't ask, but what's worse it's THEM. But since our stuff didn't have any damage so we just walked off and let them use the area.

Then after lunch I met Chua and he commented that early in the afternoon he saw a group of Indians dancing crazily at the circle of our float building area to the sound of loud music. Well, no guesses there. /roll eyes

Well, nothing much eventful happened after that. We finally did up the structure for one arm and marshed the first layer! Tmr will be the other arm...and anything else that we can get up.
