after wq has so PASSIONATELY updated everyday, im so ashamed i didnt do the same!!! LOL. okie tat was so fake. im not sincere at all.hmm what can i say today? today was the start of the 2nd intake orien camp, and the first intake didnt have to go, cuz we attended in the first 3 mths. its kinda lonely, and a little envious when you see all those pple going up the hall, lugging huge backpacks... so many wonderful memories during our orien camp. but then, when i think back of all the hardships we had to endure eg. so little sleep, the food, the yucky parts... well maybe im not so keen after all, lol.
erm.... then we had our morning assembly, sang the national song and after the announcements we made our way to the hall. there we had the o-so-kind privilege to sit in the hall and listen to the vice principal rattle on and on about the new changes made by the moe. actually, i dun think it concerns us that much. i just slept through the whole talk. REALLY SLEPT. i didnt know what he said throughout the whole talk. and yea, before that we had apple*whee~~!!* to prep us up for the morning, did abit of cheers and all that ya. but the atmosphere will nvr be like wat it was during the first 3 mths.... when you see everybody not doing it just gets to you ya? o well~~
after the talk we moved to lt5 for some talk on managing yr wealth and all that. it was quite cold in there. wish i brought a jacket along. then our speaker was mr christian chua. is he a christian? anyway, he introduced himself as the speaker and a successful entreprenuer. yeah. well... i slept through most of the first part. the second part of his talk really woke me up. he was so hilirious and inspiring. W-O-W. 30cents times 10,000 residents = 3000 bucks everyday. omg. add it up to a mth, and you have 90,000. really a cool idea. but quite flawed in a way. one, no one buys bread everyday. it lasts for a few days b4 they go out to buy another one. secondly, kinda hard to convince 10, 000 residents in the jurong area to buy bread from you. what if they like bonjour? but i must say he has thought of ways to earn money which i have nvr even considered b4. im so impressed. 3 cheers for mr christian chua!!!! WEEEEE~~!!
the happiest part of the day was that there was no principal dialogue session, cuz the q and a seesion took too long. that was a super saviour. and this shows that actually, the dialogue session is not impt, is not neccessary, and is non-essential to us. they just want us to stay back longer, hmph. anyway, heard that jjc is going to build a guardhouse due to a recent spate of theft cases. one of the culprits even had the audacy to use the victim's belongings to make a trail from the grandstand to the washroom! LOL. anyway, with the guardhouse being built, trying to leave jjc early would be quite difficult. and i duno where in the world is the new gate they mentioned. @_@......
er.... later i met up with tk, lao da, xia and we went home together... then xia asked if we wanted to catch a movie. i think everyone was ok with it, until marcus came to us, and when we asked him if he wanted to watch spongebob he said HE DIDNT WANT TO.wl... so hum. then we ended up standing near the bus stop discussing whether to go or not. in the end, everyone just went home. DIAO. took the bus 198 with lao da, talk abit about school. lao da was saying how come tk always with the gals cuz very few guys are in jjc. LOL. come to think of it, ya! he always have to accompany us gals... lol. poor thing. at the most lao da stick with him if he can, else he's one very lonely guy... lol.
