well this will be the last entry till my common tests are over, which will be in around 2 weeks time. from now i have to promise myself that i shall not go online till my exams. yeah. hopefully i can keep my word. ALL OF YOU ARE WITNESSES OKIE!!!haha..er. seriously. rehearsals are so much crap. but rehearsals are also impt. what a contradiction. i really know the imptance of rehearsals... its really to perfect yr performance on that crucial day i understand and i do agree that it is absolutely neccessary, but then its just that CANT YOU SCHEDULE YR EVENTS AFTER THE EXAM!? what in the world is wrong with the staff of jjc!! sports day, national day celebration, cca leaders investiture, pre u sem dinner, rehearsals for BOTH the investiture and ndp. WTH.(pardon for vulgarities hereon, not that i nvr used them in my life anyway, who doesnt?)
for goodness sake the pple who schedule our common tests so late are a bunch of complete BAKA=IDIOT=BAI CHI. almost everyone has finished their own common tests and here we are taking our own sweet time! do you want to know with yr stupid scheduling of events i have almost NO TIME to study? unless you want me to mug thru the late nights and early mornings, in which i clearly need the sleep so i wun do so, all my afternoons are filled with the nonsencial stuff which is impt but stupid to do right now.
see, today was the rehearsal for cca leaders investiture. bang.
tmr i have rehearsal for ndp. bang.
the day after i have training, which i hope i can cancel if coach hasnt booked the courts yet. so its a 1/2 bang.
monday i have the investiture, sports carnival, and later i have to stay back for some rubbish pre u sem lunch(but i will still go cuz its FREE, haha.. cheapo me) bang bang bang.
tuesday will be the official ndp and i have to perform from 3.30 to 6.30. bang.
and that leaves, tahdah wednesday to make use fully. crap.
argh i cant believe. i think im gonna fail for my maths, econs, and physics. and i listed all the sujects that im taking right now. o wow great.
sigh. anyways, the china trip response for girls wasnt good. it was PATHETIC.only three girls could go which was me xj and pei huang. the rest of the girls all said parental objection. well i can see some are really telling the truth while the others were just bullshitting cuz they didnt want to go and it was compulsory. i mean just look at their faces and you know... ha.. but for the guys was really overwhelming... haha. well i guess the only thing to look forward to is that the place we are visiting was coach liu's hometown which i wanted to visit since duno... sec 3 i think. and the fhss girls are oso going which is just GREAT. i miss you all so much~~ although there are some people there that i dun like. o well.
anyways the rehearsal today was super exhausting. i would have taken badminton trainings over it any other day. seriously. we were like standing for 1 hour plus throughout the 2 hour session.and we repeated the ceremony 3 times..argh. and that rehearsal excluded the vp's speech so you can imagine we had to stand longer than the rehearsed one. haiz. until now my legs are still aching from all the standing and tmr i have to go for some dancing with my legs.AARRRGGGHHH what is the world coming to?!
im getting grumpy lately cuz i really have not enugh sleep. i try to cover the loss but then its realy hard when there's so much to do. if i ever throw my temper or im in a bad mood and you are so unfortunate to get it, i apologise k. cuz im seriously in a bad mood now. cuz i want to sleep. but i want to finish blogging and get my butt on the bed FAST.
anyways, we are supposed to wear school u and tie, TIE, TIE, TIE, TIE!!!!!!!!!! to the investiture on a wonderfully hot, sunny morning with the sun shining onto our faces and blinding us with glorious light and bestowing us with the miracle of sweating profusely in our uniforms b4 the investiture even starts, as suns usually do. WOW.
seriously!
you know, ndp is such an ironic event. on one hand it promotes selflessness and loyalty to the country, and on the other hand, it promotes the country to become the laughing stock of the century. do you find it true? i mean, i have smses where pple change the lyrics of singapore songs to something funny. well i wun say what here. but then its such that at this time pple tend to make fun of singapore and what it is trying to promote. its a classical clash of two ideas. or maybe you can call it reverse pyschology. yeah it fits the bill.
btw, now i know why jjc choir mo tak teng. hahaha. super funny. no wonder they didnt get gold for syf. you know during the rehearsal, then we were running thru all the stuff and part of it was to get them to sing the national day songs. yeah you would have thought that the choir would have done a great job right? YOU ARE O-SO-CORRECT!!!!! they did a WONDERFUL JOB with their renderation of the singapore songs. omg. it was bliss in hell. uh. okie abit exaggerating. i mean i cant exactly say bliss in heaven. okie half. bliss in earth. okie???
back to the choir pple, i mean i have nvr heard vocal chords producing such impossible music to my ears. they were totally off key and im really not kidding. and there was one part where the key was so high they were on the point of... how can i say it, the pinnacle of their voices and they came to a point where they were probably reduced to some wind blowing out of their windpipes, or so it seems. that shows how hardworking they are when singing i guess. and they had only one guy and he's really a poor thing. all the songs he was supposed to sing, and he didnt really have the musical talent, just average so well... you know its like 1+1=3? yeah thats it. doesnt fit. and he couldnt reach the pitches that well either. and the girls were horrible with their voices. you know in a choir they are all supposed to work together to sing in unison? well with the girls it was like, hey you singing this pitch, okie then i will sing in another pitch, just like oil with water; it would be just perfect to ruin the song. and they will go la la la la la~~ over the song and all the leaders and teachers just sit there listening.
BANG. you know i was trying hard not to laugh when mr ng was debriefing us. i mean really! if you dun believe what i have written, you are indeed welcome to witness the music with yr ears. i mean, they will be so happy to have some LISTENING EARS to lend to their wilting music.
o well, i think i over did it a little too much. but they werent very good i can conclude. and for once i saw isabelle actually ROLL HER EYES at her choir members. hahaha thats something=D
okie i think i shall stop here for now. i stil have to get ip early tmr for rehearsal. sissy instructor eh*laughs* lol. okie. bye bye everyone till next time=)
