Right now I'm in hostel with my beloved laptop <333333 =D

Anyways, time to make a really decent post I suppose.

It's weird really, but I found out that once I had entered NUS I had changed significantly in many ways that even my dear noticed and comments on once in a while. Or maybe it's just because he has a army lifestyle and I'm not, gah, don't bother about that.

For one, well I had many friends/acquantainces that I never thought to befriend in here. Perhaps it's due to me participating with Rag and Flag, I suppose. I realise that I'm usually ten times closer to people who attended Emerga Camp in June. Needless to say, I'm sure many who attended might have the same sentiments as me as well, haha. Well of course it doesn't mean I'm not close to those people from FOW, I have some friends whom I met during FOW and talk to them regularly too. But you kinda get my point, right? =/

Secondly, maybe personality wise. Certain parts of me still stay the same. A few have changed(for the better I hope haha!).

Hostel living is quite different from living at home. Papa and mama were always there to do stuff and take care of me even though I'm 19 years old and just as lazy as ever. Some interesting aspects of hostel life would be you have to do your own washing, drying and share the toilet with the rest of the people at your level. Oh not to forget ironing too ;) But I keep having problems ironing my jeans, dang. Toilet wise, urgh. The cleaning auntie that I talk to sometimes always complains about our extremely friendly and considerate chinese counterparts, like how they diry the kitchens with their cooking and the toilet.

One fun aspect is that we have supper occasionally because my hall is just situated behind a famous coffee shop known by NUS students. Haha and whats more there's even a back gate so that we can access the coffee shop easily. And we occasionally crash into each other's rooms till the wee hours, then go back to sleep for awhile haha.

Being voted into the MC is really nice, and my position can get quite sai kang for the moment as I have to keep sending emails or something haha. It's as if my job is to just spam emails and SMSes at everyone XD Currently, something is getting on my nerves because firstly, I admit that I seriously didn't know how to mass send the emails using SoC webmail. And secondly people tell me that the meeting was rushed and some sound like a bloody hypocrite when they say they aren't attacking me yet still maintain that kind of admonishing tone. And someone said that he can only make it after a certain time cause he already had something on, but I just sent an SMS regarding dress code just in case he comes and he replied in a semi-pissed off(I don't know but it sounds like one really!!!) tone that he already told me he wasn't coming. Just his luck that I never had a good temper and that's why I'm ranting on the blog now. GAH I SHALL NOT BOTHER ABOUT THIS ANYMORE ELSE IT WILL IRRITATE THE CRAP OUT OF ME.

Work wise I haven't been revising sadly. But ever since last night when I couldn't finish my labwork and had to settle for sending in some half-baked code to the tutor I was quite angry with myself for that period of time. It was not as if the labwork was impossible; we were given one freaking week and I actually did it last minute. Grrrrrrrr. The worse thing was that I put off studying for CS1101 so I knew NUTS about the "class" thingy. I'm so going to mug every night if possible and pwn the assignments if possible >=(

Kevin is going to finish his course soon, I'm happy for him. =DHope he gets assigned to his choice which is Tuas because not only is it more convenient for him, it is air-conditioned hahahaha!!! I don't get to see him often these few weeks, even during weekends. Sometimes I understand that the schedules just don't fit, or that we each have our own socialising moments with friends, but I wish that we could see each other more often... =/

I'm pretty sure there's a lot of stuff to say, but maybe I'll leave that for next time. See ya!
