Wth...

Ok I just learnt yesterday that that freaking creepy guy is from BUSINESS.Like WTH seriously, what BUSINESS has a BUSINESS student got to do here other than taking up the seats meant for us computing students?
You can say that since it's sem break, tables and chairs are > computing students around, so it's ok to take up a seat there. But to me, he is the very example of the issue that computing students face during term time, when all the business students come down to the faculty just because we have air-con and a study corner. They take up the space, hog the tables, and it ends up where us computing students have no place to study.
It's not that I have much to complain about because being in the MC, you can at least borrow their table in the club room to study. Whom I feel for is those computing students who do not have any nice lobang to let them study when they want to. Heck, this is COM1, for computing students, shouldn't it be prioritized for us? Why do you think the admins locked up the entire basement after the IT helpdesk office hours instead of just the labs alone? It's because of people like HIM.
For those who didn't know, our faculty has a system whereby the basement will get locked and only accesible by a computing student's matric card after around 6pm or so. Why they do not lock it before 6 is because students in NUS who have trouble with comp stuff can look for the only IT helpdesk(I think) located in COM1. So if people had enough common sense, essentially what the school is saying is that it's facilities are not really meant for people who are not computing students unless neccessary.
It's not about elitism. It's about giving the rights to computing people to use their own stuff without meeting inconvenience. If the school doesn't do something, what else can the rest do? Oh btw, the reason why the first floor isn't locked is because many students use it as a convenient pathway to travel to Arts. Can't block public paths can we? Else I think it would have been blocked too. Well, that's just my personal opinion of the situation.
Luckily Biz is going to have a spanking new shiny building made just for them, fully equipped with air con in a few years time. I'm thankful for this because it means I probably will not be seeing creepy guy ever again when the time comes.

If any more camp or societies are going to approach us raggers for access to our float building area to hold their activities after next week's camp, I am seriously going to ask them to *toot toot toot toot toot * and *toot toot toot toot toot*. Well, you get what I mean.
