And finally a second event during the sem break ends, leaving float alone. Frankly speaking, I'm quite happy. Today we had this pro team playing during the DotA tournament, and yes they were truely good. During the event, I kept hearing people saying Zenith or something, even during the game I marshalled for the players were asking the opposition if they were from Zenith. At first I didn't know wad it stood for, but after googling about them a few mins ago I know now... and I think one of them looks like the members of Zenith(Ice I think). Either he is, or their picture is so photoshopped they look like one another, lol.Saw some SoC peeps coming down to visit us also.. pple like WenJie, Faizal, Michael + gf. I think that's all. Got Ben's friend also. Anyways, instead of the projected time to finish at 6.30pm, it dragged all the way to 10 plus which was kinda horrid because I started to doze off during the finals. Why it was so draggy was also due to the problem that E2Max didn't patch their Warcraft3 at all, and everyone had to spend time either downloading and updating the software, or had problems getting past their verification key thingy, forgot what's that called. Lost almost an hour or slightly more for that.
Saw some funny stuff when I marshalled too. Stuff like..
*when they have to pause to save game 30 mins after they start*
"?"
"SORRY AH IS GAME MARSHALL ASK ME DO ONE NOT I CHOOSE TO DO IT AH"
*narrowly missing death + massacre of opponents*
"<3 u all"
*on the losing side*
"my money nvr over 200 for very long alrdy"
Well stuff like that lol.

On to summing up camp:
- I think I'm getting too old for a 5D4N camp. Was so shagged, I knocked out for half a day ok. Say boo hoo to me.
- Activities were really good this year compared to previous. We never had Funny Night that time, beach games were more organized, SP stuff improved by 10000000000%, and I must say the food surpassed all to become 100000000000000000000000000000% better than last year. However the downside was that perhaps there was too much activities and freshie not enough rest, and yes like wad was discussed, maybe too many "big" events planned.
- The camp ended up being too welfare, too tight on safety. To tell the truth, I have never attended a successful camp that didn't have an element of risk or shit-work activity to go through. (Things like being pelted with shampoo, fruit juice, being tao-poked and sprayed with tomato + mayo, crawling on the ground etc) I would definitely NEVER resent the meals that was provided during camp(it's godsent), but sometimes hardship is the way to get the satisfaction that you survived this camp and experience everyone enduring the difficulties together. I think that's one of the most effective ways in letting pple bond quickly during this short period of time. The reason why i would never ever bring this up during feedback session is because firstly, the authorities will not endorse this. And for the second reason, I will keep it to myself. Have fun guessing. And it's not just me who has the same opinion on this, that I can assure u.
- no supper issue. again refer to above.
- Having seniors around is definitely a highlight of the camp cuz you don't see them often. But if they were able to stay around throughout, I think both sides would have thoroughly enjoyed themselves. However due to the fact that we stayed in halls, just too bad cannot slp with us lo. Well at least they get to stay with campers on last night I think. Got funny night, I don't know wad happen anyway. However I don't appreciate some people who tweak the activities secretly behind the scenes such that it only benefits people close to them. Simi sai fairness is that? Don't think only the people you know will lose out/suffer from an activity.
- The policy of not letting people sleep on the floor is quite troublesome but unavoidable. People bond more easily if they are physically closer to each other I think. (just don't anyhow touch ah) kinda miss last year's chalet arrangement, but again too bad. PA attitude. On the very last night of hall stay, I actually went around the entire 2 blocks to walk walk, and not a single door was open. All closed. I think this entire camp, I must be the only one who will actually open the door wide when I'm awake and inside. Amazing. And ya, the kitchen thing was SHIT. Cannot access to hot water, so crappy.
- Communication was very shitty for day 3. I was pissed enough during funny night, and I'm NOT feeling guilty for my anger at all. In fact, I'm still pretty much pissed when I recall the cock ups throughout the event.
- We iz have attitude freshies in this camp. NOT MY TYPE SORRY. It's not just having mild attitude, is VERY attitude. It's just like those people.... know got SP night want hot chick... know got go sentosa bring those rainbow sunglasses that can tempt pple to scratch... *shrugs* what to do?
- To me a really fun camp would be one with less talk, more action. Little breaks of rest is ok, but it should be controlled. Too many lags for the camp. Although someone did feedback that it allowed them time to interact, I think it's a compromise between the 2. It's either you give them rest + interaction, or you give them more interest in activity+ more excitement/buildup of atmosphere.
Lastly, to end my negative comments about camp. I don't know whose idea was it to change the prize theme from best cosplay group to become best hero and best villian, but I think it goes to show that last minute decisions do not work well most of the time unless one is sure it can entirely change the flow of happenings later on. That's why I was rather irritated when some people complained about the choice of winners for the cosplay, because they don't know what rly happened, and I hate to stand accused without being asked for a clarification properly.
On the positive stuff:
- I <3 the food. I think I've said it enough times.
- They choose Eusoff, which I'm familiar with. However it doesn't make it that camp-ish for me haha. Nvm I <3 the hot water baths.
- Being in camp comm is good. Wan do wad, can do wad unless got duty. Don't have to sweat out in the sun or walk xD yes I covet such activities!
- I think SP night was done well. I liked the way the couples were paired, very funny =D(Well with Mao holding your hands and singing into the rain... yeah...)
- Got cute guys! (thumbs up) Those that will tempt you to pinch their cheeks =D Don't worry my dear gets pinched also(LOL U KNOW WAD I MEAN)
- freshies are more encouraged to come down to rag and flag all thanks to the time taken to publicise the activities. Many many thanks! Thanks to the cosplay event, I'm hoping we can remodel some of the weapons cause they are really good for float. And this year we've seen so many groups and freshies coming down which is really great.
- grp1's cheer rox. Pauline knows why.
- this year has more interesting games involved like the balloon game, blahblahblah and a somewhat better planned finale meal. pity about the location though. i think the games ics really worked hard to find the nicer games, can see their effort =)
- i loved the gossiping with seniors that night, freaking hilarious
- i will never forget the day when the few of us played dai dee and the loser of each round have to drink an entire bottle of NEWater. went to the toilet many times xD
- fright night was freaking funny also especially when it was bernard and suting's turn. HAHHAHAHA I THOUGHT SHE SAID GET HER NOSE. And some moments when me and mao always run to chua's station to hear people scream, and running back when they start climbing the stairs. Also when I threw the eyeball at Wenjie and when Reuben laughed at my acting. lol. Still have some Scream trying to scare SueLynn(bumper edition of scares because it's her) at my station. And it's very fun to work with Mao, laugh non-stop ;D
- when peipei dave and me laughed so hard when i was being a sarcastic ah ma. HAHAHAHA
- having our dinner together after breaking camp, super funny when our table start to gossip
- shaking hands, thanking them for coming... + the last cheer by freshies
- one of the most positive things I see coming out of camp that people like Jeanette became so attached to us even though she's not gg to be in the same fac anymore. It's heartwarming.
- lastly, to have even closer relationships with some of my friends as well as making new acquaintances. That I really treasure.
Hmm ok, say so much positive(more of memorable) stuff, maybe I shall rethink on the this-camp-better-than-this-camp thingy. OK, SLIGHTLY BETTER.
